American Sokol Washington, DC (Sokol Washington) is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization incorporated in the District of Columbia. This local chapter of the American Sokol was founded in 1947.
Sokol Washington is an ethnic, educational, and physical culture organization promoting health and good citizenship of Americans of predominantly Czech and Slovak origin.

The annual activities include tennis and volleyball tournaments, bicycling and hiking events, membership appreciation picnic and social gatherings.
These Sokol Washington programs continue through our fundraising efforts and the generous financial contributions and personal support of members and friends.
